My journey into the world of photography began with my father's guidance, teaching me the art of film photography. I was a photographer for my yearbook in high school, and then just as a hobby for some years after that. Later, I began professionally shooting sports: including competitive cheer and dance, youth and high school sports, and finally onto D1 NCAA sports for five years. This early foundation laid the groundwork for my creative path, which has led me to specialize in wedding, portrait, and boudoir photography in which I now have 20 years experience.
For me, capturing portraits is all about building a connection with my clients. This connection serves as the cornerstone of each portrait session. By establishing trust and rapport, I create an environment where individuals can express themselves authentically. The result is a collection of portraits that reflect the true essence of each person, capturing their personality, emotions, and unique qualities.
In my boudoir photography sessions, I place paramount importance on ensuring the comfort and confidence of my clients. Prior to any shoot, I engage in open discussions about boundaries and comfort levels. Throughout the session, I prioritize creating an atmosphere of empowerment, where individuals feel celebrated for who they are. This approach allows me to create images that exude confidence and self-assuredness.
Weddings hold a special place in my heart, as they symbolize the power of love and connection. Having a wonderful relationship with my partner, I am deeply touched by the union of two souls.
